Item Description
A tall, 19th century, French copper mould. This is a lovely mould which has great architectural form but which also displays well when hanging. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. The design consists of a lower section of pointed topped columns above which is a tier of rounded topped columns which then narrow to a small dome top. There is a steel loop attached so that the mould can hang when not in use and there is also a small hole in the rim which was probably to take another fitting. There is very slight marking to the copper but otherwise the mould is in very good condition. The tinning to the interior is worn so it is no longer usable.
Dimensions: Height 18cm. Diameter 16.4cm.
