Item Description

A two part butter mould in the shape of a pineapple. This mould is beautifully carved, in beechwood, and it dates from c.1840. The carving is very well, detailed and the mould would turn out the full form of a pineapple which would be 5.5cm. wide by 6.5cm. high. The pineapple was the Georgian symbol of welcome so this could have been produced to welcome your guests to the table. There is a crack to one corner of the side of the mould with the pegs. Otherwise it is in excellent condition.

Dimensions: Length 6.5cm. Width 7.5cm. Height 6.5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £10. Most of Western Europe add £5.
