Item Description
An unusual shaped, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip bowl. This is marked with”WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is decorated with five different reliefs showing groups of fruits which hang from ribbons and these are divided by large, stylised, sunflowers. To the rim is a narrow border of laurel leaves and berries. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. There are some firing cracks to the base of the bowl, which occurred in the manufacture. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
