Item Description
A super quality, early 19th century wooden nutcracker carved in the shape a gentleman playing a violin or fiddle. This is carved in rosewood and it dates from c.1820. It is beautifully carved as a seated gent, sitting cross legged and playing his fiddle. There is a tiny chip to one of the toes and there is a small piece of wood missing from the opening at the back. Otherwise it is in good condition.
