Item Description
A lovely quality, early 19th century, Wedgwood creamware meat platter. This is marked with”WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1810. It is also impressed with a workman’s mark and there is a brown painted pattern number “208”. The pattern number relates to the border design which consist of hand painted flowers and wheat in brown and blue enamels. The platter is in excellent condition and would be large enough to take the Christmas goose or turkey.
Dimensions: Length 52cm. Width 39cm. Depth 4.2cm.
