Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip cup and saucer. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. The saucer is also impressed with the individual letters “G” and “K”. The cup is decorated, in white relief, with three different classical subjects divided by anthemion and the saucer has six tiny reliefs, all depicting cherubs or putti at play, and these are also divided by anthemion. The reliefs are all excellent quality and the jasper dip is a good rich shade of blue. Both the cup and saucer are in excellent condition.
