Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip jar and cover. This would originally have been part of a dressing table set. It is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a letter “K” which would be the workman’s mark. The jar is decorated with three different classical subjects. To the lid is a further classical subject and a border of oak leaves and acorns. The reliefs are good quality, the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue and both the jar and lid are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 8.5cm. Diameter 8cm.
