Item Description
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip milk or cream jug. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number “36” which would be a batch number, and a letter “L”. It is decorated, in white relief, with a band of classical subjects, trees and foliage. Around the spout and handle are laurel leaves and berries. The reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich shade of blue. The jug is in excellent condition.
