Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip lidded pot from a dressing table set. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a large letter ‘U’, which could be a workman’s mark, and a cross. It is decorated, in white relief, with three different classical subjects to the pot and a further one to the lid. To the rim of the lid is a border of oak leaves and acorns. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition.
