Item Description
A nineteenth century, Wedgwood green jasper dip jardiniere standing on three ball and claw feet. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed with the letter “X” and the number “6”, which relates to the size in inches. It is decorated, in white relief, with a continuous band of classical figures, trees and foliage and to the rim is a border of convolvulus. The reliefs are all good quality. There are a couple of small firing cracks in the reliefs but otherwise the piece is in very good condition.
