Item Description
A Wedgwood, pale green, jasper dip spill vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is one of the less common shapes for a spill vase, with the rounded base. It is decorated, in white relief, with two different classical subjects, set between trees, one being the Cupid seller, and there is a border of laurel leaves and berries to the rim. It is in very good condition but there is some staining to the interior of the vase, from use.
Dimensions: Height 12cm. Diameter 7.3cm.
