Item Description
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, circular trinket box. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It also has an impressed “K”, which would be the workman’s mark, and a number ”4”.The lid is decorated, in white relief, with Pegasus, the winged horse, and this is surrounded by a border of roses. The box is decorated with four different classical scenes and these are divided by anthemion. The piece is in excellent good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 7cm. Height 5.7cm.
