Item Description
We've seen these online, but have never been lucky enough to find one before and what a lovely example! There are lots of modern reproductions of these top hat champagne buckets but this is a genuine early 1900's silver plated example which is really weighty; found in France but probably British. Such a fun, novelty piece this would make a wonderful gift.
The plating is tarnished and polished through in places - whilst this does testify to it's age it would also be possible to get this replated. Examples of replated ones of this quality can command strong prices!
