Pair of Mid Century Leather Tetrad Nucleus Lounge Chairs

A striking pair of lounge chairs which were part of the Tetrad Nucleus range dating from around the 1970s and presented in fine vintage condition. Tetrad, which is still going strong, alongside the likes of Pieff and Howard Keith were one of the top-notch producers of armchairs etc and we have to say the Nucleus range was about their best… These are from the Mark 2 Range and look glorious in tan leather. Please note we have two matching arms which would convert the pair into a 2 seater sofa if you wish - please see image.

The tan English leather hide is top quality on these – only thick Grade A hides were used by Tetrad in the 70s. The angled polished steel frames do have the odd wear marks but importantly no breaks or repairs and sit firm with no wobbles or sways. The tan leather again does have light wear and marks but nothing nasty with no breaks, repairs or rips. These are very comfortable with good support.

We have nourished the leather and given them a light sheen rather than that tacky high gloss finish.
