A Super Unix Oak Record Cabinet C1960
We have a Unix oak modular record cabinet retailed by the Phoenix Gallery of St. Martins Lane, Charing Cross, London. Unix were fortunate to be chosen for The Festival of Britain South Bank Exhibition. This one is a lesser seen rare model with the addition of those fine looking legs - all very much of the period. The little ivorine Unix label is inside the cabinet with the Phoenix Gallery paper label attached to the rear.
The design is perfect and effortless in looks - we have two oak sections both with two sliding glass doors - in this case we have dividers for records and as mentioned well angled beech legs at the base. Condition is good with light wear but no repairs or faults.
