Hello, my name is Sophie and I believe I am well known to the trade as a seasoned dealer of some 40 years, trading under Branching Out Antiques.

Decorative antiques have been my passion over the years. First as an avid collector for myself whilst trading in antique silver, then in the late 90's I started buying decorative antiques as a business, specialising in painted furniture, French antiques, paintings and art generally and antique taxidermy. Always with an eye for the more unusual in all categories.

I have had many shops, but today I deal from my home in Whitstable, Kent, concentrating on my online presence, and spending more time searching for the ever scarcer gems for my discerning clients.

As a physical presence, I have a regular stand in the Abergavenny building at the Ardingly Antiques Fair at the South of England Showground in East Sussex, and I also make a few appearances with Adam's Antiques Fairs at The Royal Horticultural Hall in London.
