Antique George III Chippendale Style Solid Mahogany Serpentine Fold Over Games Table surviving from c1760.

Standing on four elegant Squared Legs of Cluster Column form.

Above is a deep frieze with a Dragooned edge typical of the Chippendale style.

Having one Gate leg which folds out to support the top once opened , behind the leg to the back is a useful secret drawer.

The top having a serpentine front and constructed from a rich Dark Cuban Mahogany opens up to reveal a green baize with some wear. The top having a stress fracture to the centre but is structurally sound and is typical of a table of this age.

A top quality Georgian Table.

Offered in good Original Antique condition with age related wear throughout and structurally sound.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods. Some losses and wear as always are possible when buying antiques.

Please note that we love vintage items with Original Patina and in as original condition as possible and are not sold as new and are likely to show signs of wear and tear. This is NOT sufficient grounds for a refund.

Historical worm, foxed glass and old repairs are not sufficient for a refund as by the very nature of buying antiques you as the customer and we as the vendor expect this to be commonly accepted things that come with buying antique furniture. These are not sufficient grounds for a refund.
