World War 2 Scratch Built Prisoner Of War Large Wooden Battleship.
This stunning piece has a naive design which tells a very powerful story. It was recently purchased in rural Poland at a small farmyard sale, reportedly made by a British POW.
The elements of the ship have each been hand carved also the ship has a number of salvaged metal pieces. Great age related paint flaking and wear in places as well as some small woodworm holes (treated).
The ship measures 58cm in length x 13cm wide and a height of 15cm.
