Item Description

This is a gorgeous antique brass aquamanile in the form of a temple lion, likely dating to the late 19th century. This charming piece has beautiful detail throughout with maker’s mark to back paw which is slightly raised but sits evenly, as pictured. The chain and cap which would originally have been attached at the ring on of the lion’s chest and the spout respectively are missing, but the gem-like cap to the head is intact. Height: 15cm Length: 12cm
