Item Description
Often called ‘Sailor Valentines’ or ‘Shellwork Souvenirs’, they were made in seaside towns with local shells as keepsakes, often by sailors.
This example was made in France in the late C19th/ Early C20th in Veulettes-sur-Mer in Normandy
It contains an early photo of a little girl which can easily be changed.
It’s in very good condition
