In typical Staffordshire pottery
Originally these represented the Holy Lamb but were also the Coat Of arms for the Templars, a medieval religious order founded to protect the Holy Sepulchre and Christian Pilgrims
The Pascal Lamb was the ancient badge of the Queen's Royal Regiment, conferred to the regiment in a Royal Warrant on July 1st 1751
