Item Description
An unusual and beautifully formed, heavy wrought iron framed sun lounger with finely crafted wicker.
The heavy formed wrought frame is unusual, and formed in one piece with looped leg detail that sweeps to the arms, a design led piece that has wonderful presence. The Wicker is tightly woven and of very high quality, pointing to this being a high quality made piece. Has a mid-century feel although we believe it to be a much earlier piece due to its construction.
It has a good comfortable seating position with good back support and head height, the seat and footrest has a nice rounded form, again with good support and comfortable to rest in. The iron frame has a spring like feel to it which hives the longer some movement and provides a nice feel. A lovely modernist piece that would look superb a minimalist setting.
In very good overall condition, the wicker is in extremely good order, a couple of small snags which is to be expected but nothing that effects the overall look or condition of the piece.
