Item Description
A highly decorative 19th Century Walnut Side Table with Frieze Drawer.
The table displays some wonderful craftsmanship, with geometric panelling to the frieze, four baluster shaped legs and matching decorative supports on sculpted cross stretcher. An unusual heavy pewter finish drawer handle.
The table has a large single drawer to the front, the back has a matching style so the table can be displayed with its back facing the room, ideal as a window table or desk. The Walnut has a lovely warm tone with just the right amount of wear to the edges.
Knee Hole Height = 60cm /23.75″
In superb original condition, drawer runs smoothly, the piece has small amount of wear, some traces of old woodworm and a couple of historic repairs which gives the piece its authenticity and glorious overall patina.
