Item Description
An Original 19th Century Ebonised Moorish Window, most probably retained by Liberty of London in their ‘Eastern Bazaar’ showroom.
A superb level of craftmanship and detail with good form and scale, this really has it all. Curved inviting arm with bobbin detail leading to a bobbin gallery flanked by panel work and arched end panels standing on bun feet.
An authentic piece in original condition, the seat has its original strip backed cover complete with rusty patina which gives this piece a wonderful overall appearance with the mottled off white cover contrasting against the black ebonised frame.
A solid, sturdy, well proportioned piece, ready for installation.
