Item Description
A 19th Century French armchair in Louis XVI style, with nicely carved and well detailed walnut frame, with tablet shaped upholstered back and feather filled loose cushion to the seat, the arms with scroll ends and raised on channel moulded tapering supports. Upholstered in a deep burgundy coloured textured chenille type fabric with braided edge.
The frame in good, solid condition. The fabric is quite useable and is intended to appear 'antique', however would benefit from a steam clean. I can however arrange recovering and also supply fabric if required. Buyers are also welcome to supply their own fabric if preferred.
The back 105cm high, the seat 71cm wide at the front, 53cm deep and 42cm high including the cushion.
