Item Description
A Chiltern Toys 'Panurge Pets' mohair Scottie Dog, circa 1930, with glass eyes.
In very good condition overall, the mohair is mostly thick with no evidence of moth damage. There is a little wear to the underside of the paws and particularly the nose.
Chiltern Toys 'Panurge Pets' were a range of high-quality, realistic plush animals and wheeled toys produced by the British firm H.G. Stone & Co. following their acquisition of the Scottish brand "Panurge Pets" in 1925.
There is no label however I believe this to be by Chiltern Toys.
50cm long (55cm including tail).
