Item Description
An early 19th Century Swedish green painted dome top marriage trunk, the oak carcass with iron binding and original ratchet lock and key, the front painted in colours with floral wreaths, the left hand side with the initials TTCL? and the date 1855 to the right hand side, however there are traces of an earlier date of 1816 and other initials underneath. The interior with a candlebox.
An extremely heavyweight trunk made from solid oak.
