Item Description
Janie George, A limited edition coloured lithograph titled 'Bedsheet & Catacombs', signed J.H. George '87 lower right and numbered 3/5.
Janie George studied Fine Art at West Surrey College of Art and Design, 1982-85 and obtained an MA in Fine Art at The Slade School, University College London,1986-88. Her prints, paintings and drawings have been exhibited widely in Britain and internationally. She is member of the Jamaica St Studios an independent artists’ collective in Bristol, an associate lecturer in printmaking at Bath Spa University and a lecturer at Bristol School of Art.
This print was purchased at The Slade Printmakers exhibition at The Cloisters, UCL, London in 1987.
Framed, 80cm x 65cm including frame.
