Item Description
A Minton Newcastle shape basketweave moulded porcelain plate, circa 1850, possibly by Joseph Bancroft, centrally painted in coloured enamels with a pink rose spray within a turquoise basketweave border with scroll-moulded reserves of fruit and enriched in gilt.
Pattern no 5002 painted in red on the reverse.
in very good condition, one tiny hairline crack to the underside (see photograph) which does not appear on the front of the plate.
