Item Description
An unusual find with this French Connection faux red and black snakeskin handbag. The design is unlike what we believe are the later pieces, which are more python skin like, as this is a more subtle styling, but with an interesting and tactile grain.
It's very versatile as it can be carried over the shoulder using the long metal chain strap, or with the option of neatly and completely discreetly hiding the strap (without removing) inside the purse, it can be used as a clutch bag. Its rectangular shape, fitting nicely in the palm.
Inside it bears a Press sample label with code and we are not sure if this bag was ever put into production and could be one of a very few number.
It is in remarkable condition, and the clasps shut with a very loud and assuring clunk click (see video). The frame is solid, thus keeping any contents secure and protected.
Ideal for both day and evening wear and can take a mobile, small purse and lipstick.
