Here we have a particularly good example of one of these 1930s litho-printed tin signs for Invincible Motor Insurance.
The design of this sign is absolutely fantastic; the imagery, typography and colours make for such a punchy piece of advertising and probably account for why examples of this particular sign are so sought after. The inherent vulnerability of the printed tin surface (compared to its enamel counterparts) also adds to the rarity.
There's some very slight surface corrosion to the lower left edge and a few marks to the surface but with almost no fading or discolouration this would have to be considered to be about as good as they come.
It measures 51cm wide x 24cm high.
