Item Description
The English Electric Company Limited (EE) was a British industrial manufacturer formed after World War I. In 1968 English Electric's operations were merged with GEC's.
This simple yet striking advertisment is printed on a thick card; probably meant as a showcard for display in retailers and is likely to date to the 1940s / '50s.
It's survived the decades in excellent order (likely that it was never actually displayed) with minimal fading and just a slight yellowing of the card background that gives it a lovely warm, vintage aesthetic. To preserve it's good condition and make it easier to display it has been professionally framed and glazed and is ready to hang.
It measures 59cm wide x 51.5cm high
