Item Description
A lithographic transfer of the hand-coloured woodcut by Sir William Nicholson (1872-1949).
Nicholson produced illustrations for An Almanac of Twelve Sports in 1898 which were accompanied by verses composed by Rudyard Kipling. This scene - 'Coursing' was February. This print was produced for the French market.
Presented in a period oak frame with gold slip, there is some creasing to the paper and a small tear to the upper left corner - not overly noticeable, the piece presents nicely.
37cm high x 31cm wide x 2.5cm deep.
