Whatever the size, medium or condition - there's something incredibly appealing about a coat of arms... This pressed card Victorian Royal Coat of Arms oozes a wonderful antique aesthetic, the pale blue that's used for the swagging contrasting nicely against the vibrant red background. The hardboard shield shape the coat of arms is attached to has wooden attachements on the back that I beleive would have originally allowed it to hold flags either for a coronation or similar Royal celebrations.
Given the fragility of such a thing, the pressed card has survived in good condition with no real notable creasing or tears, though there are a few scuffs / scratches and the corners of the hardboard shield are a little bashed.
The piece measures 67cm wide x 59cm high x 8cm deep.
