This is a vintage dresser base. An English, painted pine lounge or kitchen sideboard, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960.
Desirably distressed painted finish adds bountiful character to this versatile piece
Painted pine stocks with quality craftsmanship and solid feel
Deep navy blue paint with patination showing a crimson red hue beneath
Naturally finished plinth top showing fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
Arranged as a suite of five drawers and two cupboard doors
Two wide drawers along the upper fascia frame three short drawers in the centre
Each opening dressed with a brass ball pull handle
Cabinet doors dressed with brass oval lock escutcheons — untested, key absent
Painted cupboard interiors resplendent in bright cream
The whole raised upon a quartet of bracket feet, with a nine panel rear finish
