Born in London, Gordon Home (1878 - 1969) was an English landscape artist, illustrator and former art editor of The Tatler lifestyle and fashion magazine. A former major between 1914 and 1920, his post as art editor of publishing house A & C Black included the publication of his landscape works based on the county of Yorkshire, to which Home added his descriptive text of each featured location.
