18th/19th Century Scottish red sandstone plinth / pedestal.
An unusual red sandstone column (in two pieces, plinth and column). Wonderful patination with moss etc. Great conditional with minor nibbles. Stamped with initial.
Illustrated here with a 19th century sundial plate with gnomon, a really great piece or any connoisseur or someone proud of their garden. Although neat in size, it is extremely heavy.
Dimensions: 49cm (19.3") high. Square base is 40cm (15.7"). Diameter of top is 30cm (11.8").
