Item Description
An unusual pair of cold-painted spelter candlesticks in the form of a man and woman dressed in exotic costume/livery and wearing ice skates. They have each been modelled so that they appear to be carrying torchieres or braziers on long staffs. It is in these that candles could be placed.
They are in superb condition with most of their original paintwork intact, and unworn. Beautifully cast and highly decorative.
