Item Description
An early 20th century chinoiserie lacquered and painted cabinet, comprising of a pair of drawers over a shelved two-door cupboard. Some chips and losses to surface, as to be expected, but these do not detract from the overall bold decorative effect. The top has watermarks and stains to it, possibly where vases of flowers have been placed upon it. The portrayals of birds and insects amongst branches of blossom do however make this piece particularly attractive.
