Item Description
A rare industrial work lamp. We've never thought of a table lamp as folk art, but this certainly comes close. Most likely scratch-built by someone who was definitely an engineer. The way in which this lamp can be adjusted is marvellous. Allowance has been made for rise-and-fall, arm reach, and 'tilt' from two different points. A remarkable lamp, with sculptural qualities. It has been fully restored, and rewired.
