Item Description
Antique Wooden Toy Horse
A charming French wooden horse on wheels. This would have been scratch made for a child, There is a small metal hook/clasp on the support between the horses feet where string could have been attached to pull the toy. The original paint has faded in places giving a wonderful aged patina. The red wooden wheels have worn to a lighter shade from use showing it was a loved well used toy.
It is a beautiful decorative piece for a nursery or shop window display.

Workshop Report: As expected from former use, it has some historical scuffs and age related marks which adds to its charm. It has been cleaned and waxed for protection. Any historical woodworm has been treated.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
