Antique French Mercury Foxed Glass Mirror
A charming mirror with beautifully foxed mercury plate glass. A practical size with good proportions, and heavy. The frame is made of wood and gesso. The rear of the mirror retains its original wooden backboards and has a metal hanging chain.
Origin: France
Circa: 1900s
Workshop Report: Overall good vintage condition, structurally sound, the mirror has been left in its original condition, cleaned and waxed for future for protection.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
