Antique Green Benjamin Enamel Parabolic Light – A
Early English industrial shade by ‘Benjamin’ salvaged from an old warehouse. The vitreous enamelled spun steel shade is green in colour with a white inner retaining its original decal label. The shade is a parabolic shaped model, these were typically used to direct light, either against a wall or work area. The shade has retained its cast metal gallery fitting with stamped makers mark ‘Benjamin’.
Origin: Warehouse Liverpool, UK
Circa: 1940
Workshop Report: Overall good, some minor enamel blemishes to the shade and around the inner neck and rim. Supplied with new CE Certified E27 (Screw) lamp holder and 1m of brown traditional twisted cable, chain and ceiling rose with hook.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
