Chocolat Poulain Antique Storage Crate – Red – A
An original wooden shipping storage crate from one of the oldest chocolate brands in France – Chocolat Poulain. The crate has the manufacturers name stamped onto the sides in red paint and retains its original shipping label on one end. Victor-Auguste Poulain began the mass production of chocolate in 1848 in Blois, France.
A great practical crate for storing toys/shoes/magazines etc.

Circa: 1950s
Workshop Report: The crate is structurally sound, it has been cleaned and waxed for protection, there is wear to the wood in places.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
