Vintage French Enamel Garden Wall Sink Water Fountain – B
A fantastic old enamel wall sink. These were originally hung on the walls of outdoor markets and apartment buildings in Europe during the early 1900s so people could wash their hands. They were also found in public parks etc and used as drinking fountains. Originally there would have been a large brass tap mounted in the central hole.
Today these wall sinks make a fabulous garden planter/herb container, outdoor sink or just a lovely rustic decorative feature.
Origin: France
Circa: 1900s
Workshop Report: The enamel sinks have signs of aged related wear to the enamel which gives them a charming rustic look.
As with all our products, this product is an original vintage item so there are signs of wear from use.
