Item Description
A wooden carving from an Antipendium from a chapel on the island of Brac. This is 18th century and was used on the alter, decorated with saints and nicely gilded and colourfully polychromed.
Now a wonderful piece of antique wall art. An explanation on the reverse in German explains that this was found in the bin in the 1990s.
A wonderful piece of ecclesiastical history with a very decorative style.
