This Stunning Antique Sterling Silver Cream Jug, made by Samuel Meriton I in London 1753, is a rare and valuable piece with a George II pattern. The jug is crafted from solid silver, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and historical significance of that era. It is a beautiful piece and very stylish, even today, and has a foliate decoration and stands proud on 3 feet. It has no damage or restoration and is very well made. It measures 11 cm tall, 9 cm wide from outside edge of handle to front edge of spout and the body is 6.25 cm wide across the middle with a sterling silver weight of 84 grams.
