ANTIQUE ROCKING CHAIR
A bohemian style woven wicker rocking chair of fairly generous proportions.
With a blackened, almost burnt matt black finish which is naturally worn to great decorative effect.
Probably American in origin and dating from the early 20th century period. Circa 1900-1920.
The rocking chair is in good usable vintage condition and everything works as it should. The joints feel secure. There is wear throughout to the blackened finish that we think adds to its charm and aesthetic. The wicker is largely in good vintage condition and survives well with some minor losses here and there but the seat and back are still very usable.
Approximate measurements: 121cm high x 68cm wide x 89cm deep. The seat height at the front is approximately 47cm.
