Item Description
VINTAGE BAMBOO TABLE
A stylish and useful table that comfortably seats four. Sometimes this type table is known as a Mahjong or games table but it would also work well as a breakfast table in a kitchen or small dining table to seat four.
The table top is made from inlaid pieces of split bamboo arranged in a geometric pattern, supported by four bamboo legs united by a decorative shaped apron, also inlaid with split bamboo.
Probably dating from the early to Mid 20th century period. Circa 1920s-1950s.
The table is in great vintage condition, it feels stable and all joints feel secure. It has built up a natural patina over the years and shows signs of wear commensurate with age but no serious issues.
Approximate measurements: 92cm wide x 92cm deep x 75cm high.
