Item Description
Otto Gerharz. Who In 1951 As Operations Manager At Ruscha Keramik Invented What We Refer To Today As Fat Lava Glaze. He Set Up His Own Ceramic House " Otto Keramik " In 1964. Sadly He Passed Away A Few Months Ago , But His Son Otto Junior Continues His Legacy Still Producing Original Designs By His Father. Still Using The Original Moulds & Original Glazes.
This Design Is The Larger Water Buffalo Style.
Height 20cm , Width 11cm, Length 32cm.
Every single Otto Keramik piece is hand finished & coloured, no 2 pieces are ever the same. The ceramic pieces which are fat lava glazed have a natural bubble that can sometimes pop this is a natural occurrence with the fat lava glaze.
You are more than welcome to purchase this item in person & pick it up from our London based workshop.
